Chief Executive Officer

Glenn Kelman has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer and as a member of our board of directors since March 2006 after serving in a number of executive-level roles since 2005. Before joining us, Mr. Kelman was the co-founder of Plumtree Software, Inc., a provider of enterprise portal software products, where he served as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management from 1997 to 2004. Mr. Kelman holds a B.A. in English from University of California, Berkeley. We believe that Mr. Kelman’s deep understanding of our company and his real estate industry experience qualifies him to serve on our board of directors.

Biography PhotoScott Nagel
President of Real Estate Operations

Scott leads real estate operations at Redfin, with responsibility for brokerage and partner revenue, recruiting, and training, and is President of Title Forward, a Redfin owned title company. Prior to Redfin, he was a managing director at LexisNexis, with profit-and-loss responsibility for an $80 million-business. Prior to that, Scott served as vice president of strategy and client operations at Applied Discovery, a successful legal services software start-up. Scott worked for many years as an attorney, having graduated with a law degree from Seattle University and a political science degree from the University of Washington.

Biography PhotoChris Nielsen
Chief Financial Officer

Chris Nielsen has served as our Chief Financial Officer since June 2013. Before joining us, Mr. Nielsen served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at, an online shoe and clothing subsidiary of, Inc., from 2010 to June 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Nielsen served as Vice President, Home & Garden, and in various finance roles, at, Inc., an electronic commerce and cloud computing company, from 2003 to 2010. Mr. Nielsen holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Biography PhotoBridget Frey
Chief Technology Officer

As Redfin’s Chief Technology Officer, Bridget leads the software engineering team, which she has grown to more than 150 engineers in Seattle and San Francisco. Her mission is to build technology that makes the process of buying and selling a home less complicated and less stressful. She is a thought leader on issues facing women in technology, and nearly 30% of the software engineers on her team are women. Prior to Redfin, Frey was the director of analytics and business applications at Lithium Technologies. In addition, she has held management positions at IntrinsiQ Research, IMlogic and Plumtree Software. Bridget holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Harvard University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She was recently named to the Puget Sound Business Journal 40 Under 40 list. Biography PhotoAdam Wiener
Chief Growth Officer

Adam leads the Marketing, New Ventures, & Analytics teams at Redfin. He is responsible for marketing strategy, customer acquisition, and building Redfin’s brand as the modern way to buy and sell a home. Adam also leads our newest ventures, Redfin Mortgage and Redfin Now, and is responsible for using data to improve revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and efficiency across all of Redfin’s businesses. Adam joined Redfin in 2007 on the product management team and was one of the pioneers of the Redfin Partner Program for agents and our title subsidiary, Title Forward. Prior to Redfin, Adam worked at Microsoft in the SQL Server Division for five years. Adam graduated from Stanford with a degree in Symbolic Systems and a concentration in Human-Computer Interaction.

Biography PhotoKaren Krupsaw
Senior Vice President, Real Estate Operations

As Senior Vice President of Real Estate Operations, Karen Krupsaw oversees the home-selling business at Redfin nationwide and is responsible for the company's East Coast operations, including revenues, hiring, customer service and expansions into new markets. Karen was hired in 2009 as the Washington DC Market Manager and stepped up to the role of East Coast Regional Director in 2011. Prior to Redfin, Karen spent 15 years working in the home building industry, leading the growth of large sales organizations and overseeing company-wide marketing strategies. She served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bozzuto Homes and previously for Renaissance Housing. Karen graduated from Boston University's School of Management with a degree in Finance.

General Counsel

Anthony leads Redfin's Legal and Human Resources teams. Before joining Redfin, Anthony was a corporate and securities attorney in the Seattle office of a multinational law firm, where he represented venture capital funds and technology companies of all sizes. Anthony holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Calgary and a law degree from the University of Washington School of Law, where he graduated with high honors and served as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Washington Law Review.

Senior Vice President, Product and Design

Matt leads the product management and design teams at Redfin. Matt is the co-founder of Walk Score, a leading provider of neighborhood content, and Redfin’s first acquisition. Prior to Walk Score, Matt was Lead Program Manager for the Windows User Experience Team at Microsoft. Before that, he co-founded EQuill, a software startup that he sold to Microsoft in 2001. Matt attended Brown University.

Vice President, Engineering

Jennifer leads the San Francisco engineering team at Redfin. She joined the company in 2008 as a software engineer on the core search experience team and was a key developer on the first version of the highly rated Redfin iOS app. Today she leads the Redfin web and mobile apps teams that are responsible for helping people search for homes and for connecting customers to Redfin Agents. She also oversees the company’s initiative to automate and streamline the home tour scheduling process. Previously, Jennifer worked as a software engineer at Plumtree Software and BEA Systems. She graduated from Stanford University with a degree in computer science.

Head of Investor Relations

Elena is responsible for investor relations at Redfin. She brings more than 15 years of finance and investor relations experience to her role. Elena was previously director, investor relations and corporate communications at Expedia. Prior to joining Expedia, Elena held positions in financial management and investor relations at Agilent Technologies. She began her career at Goldman Sachs in New York City. Elena holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Vice President, Customer Operations

Keith leads the nationwide support operations team at Redfin and is responsible for the business teams that support Redfin agents and clients throughout the entire home buying process. Keith joined Redfin in 2015 as an agent before assuming his current role in 2017. Prior to Redfin, Keith spent 21 years leading customer service organizations for JPMorgan Chase and it’s affiliates. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of North America operations at APAC Customer Services, where he led a team of 11,000 customer service professionals across multiple industries, including financial services, healthcare, retail, telecommunications, and technology. Keith attended the University of Kansas.

Vice President, Operational Excellence

Judith leads the operational excellence team at Redfin. She is driving the company's efforts to deliver sustainable gains in business performance through process improvement and change management. Prior to joining Redfin in 2017, Judith spent ten years with CarMax, Inc, the nation's largest retailer of used vehicles, most recently as Assistant Vice President, Service Operations leading reconditioning strategy and change initiatives. In addition, she held the Director Operational Excellence role, leading a multi-year strategy for integrating lean methodologies across the company. Judith also spent fifteen years at Circuit City Stores, Inc and held progressive positions related to demand forecasting and inventory management, including Vice President of Supply Chain and Vice President of Logistics. Judith graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a business degree from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business.

Biography PhotoChelsea Goyer
VP, Recruiting, Partners & MLS Relations

Chelsea oversees recruiting, expansion, industry relations and the Redfin partner program. She is responsible for recruiting top talent for both the real estate and operations side of the business. Chelsea heads up Redfin's industry relations team, serving as a liaison to MLSs and industry associations. She manages the teams responsible for launching brokerage operations in new locations, onboarding new MLSs and data feeds, and maintaining Redfin's compliance with licensing and data syndication standards. Chelsea also oversees the Redfin partner program, which she helped develop and launch. Chelsea has been with Redfin since in its early days. Starting as a transaction coordinator in 2007, she has overseen a variety of strategic projects during her career at Redfin.

Chief Economist

Daryl Fairweather is the chief economist of Redfin. Prior to joining Redfin she was a senior economist at Amazon working on problems related to employee engagement and managing a team of analysts. During the housing crisis, Daryl worked as a researcher at the Boston Fed studying why homeowners entered foreclosure. Daryl received her Bachelor's of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received her Ph.D. and Master's degrees in economics at the University of Chicago where she specialized in behavioral economics. Vice President of Information Technology

As Vice President of Information Technology, HRIS, Office Development and Customer Service, Eric oversees Redfin’s corporate technology organization, application team, customer service team, along with our Facilities and Workplace Strategy team throughout the United States. Previously, Eric led the Corporate IT team at Big Fish Games, in Seattle. Eric graduated from Washington State University.

Vice President, Marketing

Lisa leads brand marketing and communications at Redfin. She joined the company in 2009 as the first marketing hire and built Redfin's email marketing, customer research and home-buying and selling class programs. Today she leads all customer communication efforts including developing TV, radio, outdoor and digital ads and manages product marketing teams that help define and launch innovative services for home-buyers and sellers. She also leads the PR and communications teams in positioning Redfin in the media as a housing market authority and technology thought leader. She graduated summa cum laude from Whitman College with degrees in classical piano performance and economics.

He worked most recently in Chicago doing securities research, and previously as a business intelligence analyst. Taylor went to graduate school for economics in Berlin, where he focused on behavioral economics and the housing market crash.

Market Manager in Boise, ID

Paul Reid is a veteran Redfin agent with a decade of real estate experience. He joined Redfin as an agent in Orange County, Calif. in 2010. In 2013, he moved on to lead Redfin’s expansion to the Inland Empire of Southern California in 2013. After helping dozens of homebuyers and sellers achieve their goals and building an important market for Redfin, Paul went on to join Redfin’s new ventures team, collaborating with engineers, data scientists and leaders from across the country to evaluate and launch new growth opportunities for the company. A respected leader and innovator within Redfin and the real estate industry, Paul now heads up Redfin's team of agents in Boise, Idaho.
